Indulgent and good Mother, tonight I want to lay at your feet the burden of my day, the burden of my work and my toil, and above all, the burden of my offenses and infidelities to the Lord.
I come to deliver everything, begging you to thank the Heavenly Father for the abundance of his benefits, and to ask for forgiveness for my faults. And after having placed myself entirely in your maternal hands, I come to ask for the last time for a look of benevolence, the affectionate smile that you intend for your children. After having endured the fatigue of a whole day, we are happy to find in the afternoon a loving refuge, a smiling kindness.
Your welcoming and understanding face will make me forget all the difficulties I have encountered and on this day I will be able to sleep in peace, knowing that you continue to love me and watch over me.
